iHitori is an elegant, challenging iPhone implementation of the Hitori game. iHitori offers a new twist on the well-known Sudoku game with a sophisticated puzzle generator that creates a unique game each time you play. Created with elegant Asian-themed graphics, iHitori is as fun as it is addictive! The game consists of a grid containing cells. Each cell contains a digit. Initially, rows and columns contain duplicate digits. The objective of the game is to eliminate duplicate cells so that the remaining cells are unique in each row and each column.

Game Rules:

1. Cells selected for removal cannot be horizontally or vertically adjacent, although they can be diagonally adjacent. In other words, painted cells cannot touch each other.

2. The remaining cells must all be connected into a single surface. Cells are deemed "connected" when they are touching one another horizontally or vertically. Unpainted cells are not allowed to create "islands" of unpainted cells.

3. The game is won when all rows and all columns are solved.

Game Options:

1. Use the Settings feature (lower right corner) to choose your puzzle size and number of tiles to control the level of difficulty.

2. Play in English, French, German, Italian or Spanish.

iHitori is compatible with iPhone 2.2.1 and 3.0 and iPod Touch (all versions.)
